|Requirements To Apply
- Valid passport with minimum 6 months expired.
- Proof showing your reason for entering Jamaica.
- Certificate of employment.
- American Visa (not essential), except in special circumstances.
- If applicants are fishermen who exercise their office in Jamaica, permission is required in writing by the competent Jamaican authority authorizing such activity (note shall include: number of people to enter with their corresponding names and passport numbers, etc.) .
- To authorize visas for minors,in addition to the documents required for adults you must also present: birth certificate of a child, photocopy of the identities of parents and permit duly authenticated by a lawyer (can be the same as of migration) present, only make a copy of the same.
- The visas are granted are tourist, one (1) entry usable for three (3) months.
- In the absence of paragraphs 2 and 3, bank records.
- Diplomatic visas are issued to officials representing the institution and that can check up on presentation of official letter issued by the entity concerned.
- Complete and submit form “visa application” (J Form)
- Two (2) passport sized photographs of the person traveling.
- Deposit us$20.00 (in US dollars) in the DAVIVIENDA bank, account number 1010966195 in the name of Eduardo Kafie.
- The visa process are: maximum two (2) working days.
- Consulate Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 5:00 PM
- It is appreciated that when you printing the J Form, do it in legal size paper (8.5 x 13 “), verify not deform it, so that all information fit on one page, preferably filled by hand by the person concerned and ensure fill complete and sign it.
