Instant photos are NOT acceptable (example those taken at pharmacies\/drug stores).<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>&#8220;Photos that do not meet requirements will delay passport processing time.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When taking your photographs, please note the following guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 identical photographs are required<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The photograph must highlight the face from the chest to crown of head (natural top of head). The photos should measure 50mm x 60mm in size (2 in. wide x 2 3\/8 in. high)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Photographs should be taken in colour with a matte\/dull finish, against a plain background<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants of light complexion should avoid wearing white clothing and should have photographs taken against a pastel shaded background<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants of dark complexion should wear coloured clothing and photographs should be taken against a white background.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants with grey\/white hair should have their photograph taken against a pale blue or pastel background<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">There should be a contrast between the background and your shirt\/blouse.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shoulders are to be properly covered.
